How It Works

The 8-Factor Model

Our assessment is based on 8 key performance factors, each weighted by their impact on elite performance:

FactorWeightWhy It Matters
🧠 Mental Game600Thought patterns, focus, and flow states determine consistency
🔥 Motivation500Sustained drive enables long-term improvement
😴 Sleep & Recovery400Rest directly impacts reaction time and decision-making
🪞 Self-Awareness400You can't improve what you can't see
🥗 Nutrition300Stable energy = stable performance
🤝 Team Dynamics300Communication and trust often outweigh talent
💆 Tension Management300Tension is precision's enemy
🎯 Technique100At elite level, everyone has good technique

The ROI Formula

Not all improvements are equal. We calculate Return on Investment (ROI) to find where your effort will have the most impact:

ROI = (Potential Gain × Weight) / Effort Required

Key insight: A low score in a high-weight factor often gives better ROI than a medium score in a lower-weight factor.

Example

FactorWeightCurrentROI
Sleep40030%312
Mental Game60070%169
Technique10080%18

Despite Mental Game having the highest weight, improving Sleep from 30% offers 1.8x better ROI because:

  • More room for improvement (low current level)
  • Less effort required (not fighting against plateau)

Rating Guidelines

0-25%: Beginner

  • No experience or awareness
  • Learning basic concepts
  • Limited consistency

25-50%: Developing

  • Some awareness but inconsistent
  • Basic understanding
  • Occasional success

50-75%: Competent

  • Regular application
  • Good consistency
  • Can handle normal situations

75-100%: Advanced/World-Class

  • Reliable execution
  • Works under pressure
  • Consistent excellence

The Self-Awareness Catch-22

Important Note

Low self-awareness affects the accuracy of ALL your assessments. If you suspect your self-awareness might be low, consider:

  1. Ask trusted teammates how they would rate you
  2. Review video of your play
  3. Compare results over time to calibrate
